His hands…
for so many men I think their hands symbolize the work that they do & the
impact they can have in the world. On a large scale or a small scale… both
being very important! It can show a lack of ambition or an over-abundance of
ambition… no matter which end of that scale it is not good… laziness or
workaholism!
So many
times, I believe, a man sees his purpose in life by what he does, when that can
be important, but not as important as how he treats people when he’s doing it!
“whatever
you do, do everything to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31b
So as you
pray for your husband’s hands… pray for his work… that he will have a clear
sense of purpose, an understanding of what God wants him to be doing, &
that whatever that is he does it all to bring God glory. Pray that your husband
will seek to share his testimony with others around him, leaving a good
influence in the world.
